I've partnered with Bed Bath and Beyond to turn my new room into a bohemian artsy heaven. In this blog post, I'll be sharing some tips on how I decorated my room and sharing what exactly I used.
As some of you may know, I recently moved to a new house in Los Angeles. I was ready to make this room my little artist heaven, so naturally I looked up a zillion pictures on Tumblr and Pinterest to find what type of style I was going for. In any type of art (interior design is an art :) I believe its so important to look for inspiration and find what styles you really like. For me, I really fell in love with the bohemian and Bali room styles. Despite not living somewhere tropical, I still love tropical and exotic vibes. You may not know exactly what style you are going for, and that's ok. Just do some research and find what pictures you love most. Identify what you love most from those photos and try to find similar items to incorporate into your room with.

I had the amazing opportunity to paint a Mural in Topanga Canyon (just inland of Malibu Beach) and stay with Lydia Green and her son Dest in their beautiful home. Among many other things, Lydia is a Film Producer, Ballerina, and recent Airbnb-er.

We even went hiking around the beautiful Toping Canyon, and every morning I woke up to a breathtaking view. It was pure magic, I got to live in paradise. Through conversation, Lydia and I realized that both our moms had passed away, and that they were hugely inspirational people in our lives. Because of that, this mural was dedicated to our mothers.
Go stay at her beautiful home!! It really is like heaven on earth, and Lydia and...

From drawings, paintings and instrumental designs to body art and tattoos, Rose continues to expand her art through various platforms and creations. Now, anyone can purchase her products at the University Bookstore.
Rose first began selling her art through Instagram after one of her high school teachers asked if she could design a tattoo for her. When Rose realized that this was a viable way to make money, she decided to apply business skills into her product.
She competed in Zuventurez program, APU’s start-up business plan competition for students, which led to a new partnership between Zuventurez and the University Bookstore.
