Kim Rose (b. 1994) is an abstract artist based in the dynamic Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles. Her journey began at 16 following the passing of her mother, a pivotal moment that ignited her passion for art. Inspired by loss, transformation and memories, Rose’s work explores themes of death, the afterlife, and balance— concepts that weave throughout her entire practice.

For eight years, Rose has pushed the boundaries of traditional and contemporary mediums, merging craftsmanship with innovation. Her large-scale paintings, often enriched with 24k gold leaf. Her proprietary top-stone technique, inspired by the sandbanks of Tulum, places her work at the intersection of the natural world and the imagination. Each piece invites viewers to uncover new layers over time, exploring the delicate balance between structure and organic flow, strength and surrender.

A few times a year, Rose releases a highly anticipated 'mini' series— limited editions of small works that sell out instantly, reflecting the deep loyalty of her collector base. Her— art often viral, fuels demand and establishes her as one of the most sought-after emerging talents today. Recent exhibitions include: Venus’s Garden in Los Angeles, Born to Live in New York, and Art Connect in Tokyo.

As she prepares for an upcoming artist residency in Japan, Kim Rose continues to reshape the landscape of contemporary art, capturing the universal experience of seeking balance in a constantly shifting world.
