In Tres Hermanas, three interconnected circles pulse with depth and quiet transformation. Shades of blue shift from darkness to light, their surfaces held by soft arcs of gold. The circles are more than shapes: they embody the cycles we all move through—loss and healing, stillness and growth, shadow and illumination.

The composition evokes water and sky, while the gilded edges bring warmth, guidance, and a glimpse into something sacred. Titled Three Sisters, the piece speaks to the quiet strength of connection. Whether read as three souls, three phases, or three echoes of one spirit, they exist together in harmony, each distinct yet deeply linked.
This work belongs to Rose’s Mar y Sol series, a body of paintings inspired by her mother, Marisol. Her name breaks down into mar (sea), y (and), and sol (sun)—a poetic translation that became both symbol and source of inspiration. Marisol’s encouragement shaped Rose’s path as an artist, and her passing brought both pain and transformation, becoming the impetus for her creative practice.
Tres Hermanas is not about holding onto one moment. It honors the beauty of change. It celebrates transformation, memory, and the enduring presence of love—seen, felt, and always near.
